Welcome home!

My new favorite picture!
A Summer-Penelope encounter. Penelope hung around long enough for me to get the camera and get a picture before she took off. (Maybe it was just her way of thanking us for getting the prickly that was stuck on her nose off.)
Thank you for the cell phone, Lane! :)
Hugging Lamb.
New rule at our house...when Lamb gets a bath in the washing machine (which should happen daily - Lamb always smells like rotten milk), she must not face out through the window. Much too weird to have her little face tumbling around in circles when the washer is running.
Lots of presents for my birthday waiting when we got home. (Yep, that's the jumperoo on the couch. Don't try this at home, kids!)
And balloons!
More balloons!
And a banner! What fun!
Happy smile when we were in Ohio!
So sweet!
LOVES her cousins!
Hugs!
And stories!
People just my size!
Toys to share...
Back at home looking like an orphan with no clothes on.
No wonder she misses all her friends in Ohio.
At least she has Lane!
(Those are his feet.)
And this is her almost crawl.
So proud of her two bottom teeth.
Or maybe just that she was able to tangle the entire yarn ball.
Ooops, almost forgot my stories....
* We had a good trip home on the airplane. On both flights, we got an empty seat next to us, so we could spread out more and not bother people. There were no fits, and on one of the flights, we had a very friendly man with a huge smile behind us who was willing to play "Peek!" for about a half an hour.
* Yesterday we went swimming at Rassi's. I was afraid we were almost to the end of our swimming days for the summer. Bambi had a great time! She slid right into her little elephant float and kicked around the pool. She was so happy! I really wish I had the camera with me then. The Rassi's got a solar pool cover recently, so maybe....we will have more swimming days left. (It was also back in the nineties yesterday, I believe - almost set a record. This is unusual weather.)
* Bambi = still not crawling, but trying.
* In other news...I bought eight pounds of bananas for the little lady, and she ate them all in one day. Not quite, but she is an eater.
