Deer (not bigger in Texas)

My new favorite picture. Little peeking bebe.
This is our little roller. Trying to change her diaper is like a wild west show. She loves to roll over as soon as she is laying on her back.

And here's one of her new outfits.
Rolled herself to the edge of her playmat....

Another new outfit. (Those are little peacocks.)
I have giant eyes.
If only there was room for both hands in mah mouth at the same time.

Another rollover diaper change.
Ah yes, so yesterday I had one of those moments that they write country songs about. Came home from running errands, and Bambi was sleeping, so I got her out of her carseat, didn't pull the vehicle all the way in the garage, left it running (it's hard to get her out in the tight garage), so anyway, brought her in to lay her down, she woke up and starting crying, the phone was ringing, vehicle still running, and I heard Penelope growling. What in the world?!? Saw this guy outside the window....
Yes, the cat & deer showdown.
Ain't skeered of you, little white fluff.
I've been in bigger brawls than the likes of you.
(Looks like someone almost got him once with that scar on his back.)

Practicing her wave + sunglasses that are already a little too small on the sides, too big on the front.
Our little blond fuzzi-head.
Her new favorite position.
Here's a new expression.
Looking like a big kid.

Likes to sleep on her stomach now.

Sweet little Penelope - this is not caught mid-roll. She just likes to lay on her back.

The little ladies playing together.
"I want to wear this one, Mom."

Fell asleep with the little lamb in her hands. (There are a lot of lambs in her life.)
I just love how Bambi looks like she's conspiring in some big secret. (And I love Scott's shirt.) :)

Proof about that salamander

Sleeping with her lamb.

I just thought this was so cute. She does have a swimming suit. Guess it was too much work to put it on.... (In other drama, off to the right, you see Roxie, who is in a tremendous fix because her bone just fell in the pool and she can't get it out by herself, and Scott is ignoring her.)

So I guess you weren't napping like I thought you were.
Loves rolling over.
So much for making the bed right now.

This is our weekly edition of Summer in her crib with Lamb & Orange.
So here's the salamander that was in our duplex the other night. We caught him in a ice cream bucket. Would have been happy to give him to any kid who wants a new pet.
The crawling sequence....didn't actually get the up on her knees part.

Getting there.

On her five month birthday.

Happy birthday!
I think this is our funniest picture so far. (Notice the difference in skin color. Scott, let me introduce you to sunscreen.)
Summer: Five months
