Driving, deer, eating, missing Lane

That's what we've been up to. Spending some time at Lowe's.
Scott getting supplies for his latest projects.
Summer busy driving race cars.
Yep, I'm happy to stay here as long as you want, Dad.

Is this a horn? (Bummer....it's not.)
These pictures were cracking me up.

Big eyes.

So maybe not all deer are tiny here.
I saw these guys on my way driving out to our place one day.

Thought they were pretty.
Here's the little eater.
Trying to get a picture of her lunging for food.

Too fascinated by the camera to go for the graham cracker.

Things other than baby food that Summer has eaten recently: salt & vinegar chips, graham crackers, yogurt, eggs, and possibly a bug. Many attempts at the cat food = unsuccessful. (Parents in the way. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of her trying to get around Scott's legs to get to the food bowls.)
After many attempts, she did not eat this banana.
It's still there.
Eating some bananas.....
at our kitchen table.
We recently got out her high chair. It didn't occur to me that most babies probably use these things since they're newborns.
We haven't really had a table or chairs or anything like that for a while, so I kinda forget that other people do.
Speaking of tables, this is a project that Scott has been working on at his job lately. It's a pretty huge table. (Please pass the megaphone so we can all carry on a conversation here.)
We're looking forward to having more space. Almost finished with house plans.

Rare sleeping moment = very precious.

Some sad moments lately.
Let me outta here!
So sweet! Hair a little curly when wet.
Missing Lane a lot, even though she may not have totally been into that book.
Come back soon, Lane!
(Or I will eat all of your birthday candy.)

How exciting to see the new pictures!! They are just adorable!! I'm so glad you post these. It sounds like Summer is off to a good start eating. I'm glad she doesn't have to eat Penelope's food! And that's quite a huge table that Scott made! (Very Texas-size!!)
Thanks for sharing these pics!!
With love, Mom
